Marvelous Mondays
 Marvelous Monday's in May begin May 5, 2008 with Dr. Steve Hale, with special music by Rev. Charles Jones;  Monday, May 12, 2008, we will have Dr. Fred Luter with special music by Cornerstone.  Then on Monday, May 19, Dr. Herb Reavis will be with us.  John Starnes will have the special music.  Services will be at 6:45.  A nursery will be available.  Make your plans to be in every service.

Dr. William H. Sims- Pastor PDF Print E-mail
Pastor Sims and Nancy married in 1983 and have two children, Drew and Hannah Elizabeth. They came to Byne Memorial Baptist Church in May 2005. Pastor Sims accepted KING JESUS as his LORD and Savior at age 8. He graduated from Union University (1983) received his Masters of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1985) and Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1991). He became a Pastor in 1981 and is devoted to proclaiming GOD’S Holy Word and reaching people with the Good News.

Nancy graduated from Union University in 1983 with a degree in Elementary Education. She teaches third grade and enjoys the opportunity of being a witness at school and in her daily life. Drew their son is attending Darton College. Hannah Elizabeth is in the tenth grade at Byne Memorial Baptist School.

One of Pastor Sims favorite verses is Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the Kingdom of GOD, and HIS righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." This verse has given the Sims Family strength as they stay in the will of GOD.
