Marvelous Mondays
 Marvelous Monday's in May begin May 5, 2008 with Dr. Steve Hale, with special music by Rev. Charles Jones;  Monday, May 12, 2008, we will have Dr. Fred Luter with special music by Cornerstone.  Then on Monday, May 19, Dr. Herb Reavis will be with us.  John Starnes will have the special music.  Services will be at 6:45.  A nursery will be available.  Make your plans to be in every service.

Charles Jones- Sr. Adults PDF Print E-mail
Charles is a native of Florida, born and raised in Orlando , long before Disney.  He is a graduate of Asbury College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Music.  He was ordained to the ministry in Jacksonville , FL , in 1988, some years after his service to the Lord had begun.

The majority of Charles’ ministry has been in the church music field.  After accepting Christ as his Savior as a teenager, he dedicated his musical talent strictly to Christian music.  In a 45 plus year span of service he has served as a Song Evangelist, traveling extensively through the Eastern United States in revivals and campmeetings.  He has also been a Concert Artist, Minister of Music, Pastor and now serves as Senior Adult Minister for Byne Memorial Baptist Church.  Charles has also worked extensively in Christian Television and Radio.


Charles’ wife is Judy Thompson, a native of Georgia, born in Atlanta.   Judy is not only a wife, but a teammate in ministry.  They have six children: Charles, Jr., Tim, Ray, Deborah, Karen and Amanda, and eleven grandchildren.


“We believe that Senior Adults have a wealth of experience to share that can help others come to know Jesus and learn to live in the power of His sufficiency.  In addition to having much to share, seniors also have a personal desire to continue to grow in God’s Grace.  We want to help that to happen in the lives of many.”
