Warren Gorman- Recreation
Warren was born and raised in
Knoxville ,
Tennessee . He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design from the
University of
Tennessee and a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Education with a concentration in Church Recreation from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in
Fort Worth ,
Texas . While in Texas Warren met his wife Jill who is from Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Everyone recreates at some point and at some time. God has given all of us passions in life- things that give us joy whether it be reading books, scrapbooking or sports. Recreation ministry allows believers to take their God given passion and use it to build relationships with other individuals and introduce them to Jesus Christ. Through recreation the Church has the opportunity to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth and just around the corner.
