Steve felt God’s call to ministry during the end of his service in the Navy. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Elementary Education and received a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

“Ministry to children is really ministry to families. My passion is to help children become Luke 2:52 children while encouraging their parents to become Deuteronomy 6:7 parents. The church needs to do all it can to partner with parents as they lead their children to faith in Christ and disciple them in this faith.”

Steve and Debi have been married for 31 years and have two grown daughters and three granddaughters. Steve has served churches across the south since 1985 as a Children’s Pastor.
