Charlie Brown, Minister of Adult Education and Missions
Favorite Scripture: Gal. 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in Me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
What is your dream for your ministry: Reaching people for Christ then enabling all I meet to develop a heart for, a plan for and a life for being an Acts 1:8 Christian.
Family: Wife Retha, three married daughters Monica (husband David and grandson Cameron), Charlene (husband Paul and granddaughter Sara) and Jana (husband John and grandson Colby and granddaughter Bralyn)
Background: Charlie was born in Montgomery, Alabama, but has spent most of his life in Florida and Georgia. He is a proud graduate of the University of Florida and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Favorite Season: Without a doubt Spring time is my favorite season of the year, but Fall follows right behind as a close second.

Favorite Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11, God knows His plans for us, to prosper us and not harm us. He wants to give us a hope and future.
Goal for deaf ministry: To reach out to the deaf in our community and surrounding communities and tell them about Jesus and to lead our deaf members to become more mature Christians so they will want to tell others about Jesus.
Family: My wife, Amy, and I have been married for 20 yrs and we have two amazing sons, Jordan and Tyler.
Favorite Scripture: John 1:1-18 is my favorite because there is just so much there. Every time I read it there is something new.
Ministry Dream: To see the people of Byne connect with the surrounding community and introduce them to the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

Favorite Scripture: 1 Timothy 4:12, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
Family: My best friend is my wife. Christy and I met in college and a whirlwind journey began. We are blessed with 4 beautiful children and our newest member "Lucy" our puppy.
Least Favorite Food: Any thing green.
Favorite Movie: It's hard to pick just one, but some of my favorites are: The Patriot, Remember the Titans and The Rookie.
Favorite Scripture: My favorite scripture is actually more than one. First is Ephesians 6:10 "..Be strong in the Lord..." . We need to always look for God's strength. Then with that strength is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me". And we are able to do all this for the purpose of Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven" All for His honor and glory.
Ministry Dream: The dream for my ministry is to enable the ministry team here at Byne to accomplish the visions God has given them. As media ministry we have the ability to put together either by audio, video and lighting the tools to help proclaim God's word and to equip and involve people in other areas of worship.

Favorite Childhood Memory: Every Sunday all my family (my mom, dad, twin brothers, both sets of grandparents and my great grandmother) would all worship together at Byne. Then all of us would go to one of my grandparent's house for lunch and spend the afternoon together until time to go back to church.
